Apartment description
This elegant air-conditioned apartment, just steps away from the Eiffel Tower and the rue Cler street market, has an optimum floorplan with a corridor / entrance that distributes onto the living room and kitchen at the near end, and onto the bedroom and bathroom at the far end. The bright, airy living room features two distinct parts, separated by a large archway. Each part has its own sofa and living space with one sofa folding out into an extra bed. The interior style is decidedly contemporary, yet with a timeless elegance. The hardwood parquet floorboards and ceiling mouldings give a natural charm that is enhanced by the contemporary furnishings and trendy, chic artwork on the walls. The comfortable bedroom, finished in neutral tones with sharply contrasting raspberry red highlights, looks on to the courtyard and is very quiet. The queen-sized bed features a stylish high-backed headboard with matching cushions. An elegant bench is trimmed in matching suede next to a custom-integrated wardrobe providing ample storage space.

Area
This upscale neighborhood, overlooked by the Eiffel Tower, and with its airy, wide open avenues and boulevards, contains some of the most beautiful architecture in Paris. The Place du Trocadero offers one of the best views of the Eiffel Tower. Be sure to go there at night when thousands of twinkling lights sparkle at the top of every hour and the rotating searchlight crosses the Paris night sky. There are lots of museums and monuments to visit besides the Eiffel Tower and the focal point of the area is the pedestrian rue Cler market, one of Paris’ best street markets and a true foody’s paradise. The adjoining streets, including rue Saint Dominique, are lined with great shops and a bewildering array of deliciously tempting restaurants and cafés.

Testimonials
“We truly enjoyed the Left Bank Eiffel apartment, which was beautifully furnished and equipped with appliances which were modern and easy to use as well as an excellent sound system. The location is hard to beat, being only blocks from the Seine and the Eiffel Tower which we visited nightly to watch the phenomenal light show each evening. There are several excellent restaurants nearby, some on the same street as the apartment and the Rue Cler market was a wonderful resource for produce, artisan cheeses and of course, fresh crepes.Tucked away on a side street, we discovered Chez Lucie, a Creole restaurant with great food and an extremely entertaining proprietor.
Having rented apartments in Paris before, I was especially impressed with how well organized your company was and we appreciated the assistance which Bruno provided, by giving us an orientation as to working the appliances, recommending good restaurants, ongoing events and points of interest, as well as calling a taxi for our departure. Having access to a local telephone in the apartment is invaluable as my cell phone was not always reliable in Europe.
Given the location and amenities, this apartment is an excellent choice for American travelers and we look forward to visiting again.”

“I would recommend A La Carte. We stayed at the Left Bank Eiffel Apartment and were very impressed. All pictures accurately displayed the apt and description of area was perfectly accurate. The staff does everything that they say they will do. Go to Paris and truly enjoy the experience. We did and will be back. Thank you.”

“Recently, I was a guest at your Left Bank Eiffel apartment, a block away from the legendary Eiffel Tower. I want to thank you for all your kind and efficient service. When we arrived, one of your staff was lready waiting for us at the apartment....with keys, champagne and a fruit basket. What a very nice touch. The apartment was as promised, nicely furnished with all the little amenities such as toaster, microwave, hairdryer, coffeemaker, and iron. There is a great deli right downstairs with a special prepared food every day. We sampled all the restaurants on the street and they were all great. Parking was available on the street every night when I got back to my "French pied a terre". The day I checked out, I had an early flight. Your rep was there at 7 a.m. and gave us great directions to the airport. Checkout was smooth and quick. What else could I ask for? I will be coming back to Paris in a couple of months and I hope to see you again. Thanks again for the great service.”

“Every evening before going to bed stroll down to the Eiffel Tower (it can’t be two minutes), under its arched legs and over to the Seine. Walk along the river and back to your apartment. If you should tire of this view (and I can’t imagine how you could) you can head in the opposite direction and walk to Les Invallides. At night the lighting is magical. We chose to travel by the “Batobus” – minutes from the apartment. Using the Seine to get to many of the major sights – Louvre, Notre Dame, Musée d’Orsay, Arc de Triomphe – is a lovely way to travel (particularly at night). It’s hard to choose which boulangerie for breakfast—there are at least 6 within a moments walk. But be careful, you become one of the family quickly — the shopkeepers greet you warmly--and if you are like I am and have your rituals they have your coffee and pastry ready for you when you walk in the door — it’s wonderful. If you want to feel part of the city, instead of a tourist, it’s the only way to go. The apartment itself is charming. My daughter who is a design student loved it! And Bruno has thought of everything. No matter what time you arrive he’s there to meet you. And when it’s time to leave there is a luxurious ride at your door for the airport. For those evenings where you have walked until you are ready to drop, just downstairs there is a wonderful take-out gourmet place where you can pick up dinner and a bottle of wine, head upstairs, put your feet up and relax in your very own place in Paris. We felt very much at home in this neighbourhood. Does it get any better than that?”

“My wife and I enjoyed our recent stay in Paris very much, due, in no small part, to the very nice A la Carte Left Bank Eiffel apartment in the 7th arrondissement. The apartment was wonderful, the location was excellent, and every part of our experience, from our arrival to our departure, was easy. The staff of A la Carte Paris Apartments was warm, friendly, helpful, and available throughout our stay. We are planning a longer, return trip to Paris next year, and we will definitely use A la Carte again.”

“My husband and I wanted to stay somewhere special for our 25th Wedding Anniversary in early September and we selected the Left Bank Eiffel apartment. We could not have been happier with the service provided by the A La Carte team or by the apartment and its location – better even than expected.
Our week in Paris was the highlight of our 6-week trip. As my husband said, “It was magical.”
When next we come to Paris we will certainly be in touch.”

“Wonderful greeting on arrival with fresh flowers, fruit and a bottle of wine. Bath robes are a great idea. Apartment very pleasing and nicely decorated. Very quiet bedroom! Wonderful street with great restaurants and a bakery just across the street with warm fresh bread each morning. Small store around the corner for general needs and market street 5 mins away.”
