“The apartment on Rue Cler is exactly how it is shown in the photographs – that was the reason we chose it and we were not disappointed: it is beautiful! Beautifully decorated, open area with living room, dining table and kitchen, spacious, airy, nice furniture, nice décor, with two big French windows overlooking Rue Cler which is a treat. Nice size bedroom, big closet space and lots of hangers and a full bathroom with a nice rainforest shower. Rue Cler is wonderful to watch from the apartment windows: in the mornings you see the deliveries being made to the small shops that have made Rue Cler famous: the bakery, the cheese shop, the fruit and vegetable shop (right next door!), Franprix right at the corner where you can get some groceries, the cafés – but also, the kids going to school in the morning, riding their little scooters (seems to be the means of transportation for children starting at age 2), people going to work with their baguettes under the arm and a cup of coffee in their hands, older ladies very well dressed starting their day, it was wonderful to see Paris wake up. This apartment was close to the Eiffel Tower, to rue Grenelle and the Esplanade des Invalides, to rue Saint-Dominique with its great restaurants (we ate twice at Café Constant we liked it so much!). The location was perfect, the apartment was perfect: I could have stayed and lived there, I liked it so much! We stayed there the last five days of September and there were a couple of days when the temperature was a little bit high for that time of year but the fan helped. Since Rue Cler has several cafés it could get a little noisy at night so we would close the windows and then it was perfect silence (!) and that is when the fan came in handy.
This was the third time that we rented an apartment from A la Carte Paris and we will continue to do so for our next visits: their apartments are very well appointed, they are comfortable and enjoyable, well equipped, nicely decorated, they have everything you may need. The service is excellent from the moment you contact them to inquire about an apartment to the booking process to the bottle of champagne and chocolates upon your arrival, what can I say, except that the staff is a pleasure to deal with and even the car service that they refer their clients to, AS Voiturage, is also excellent, English speaking drivers, reliable, very polite and friendly. In short, I just put myself in A la Carte Paris’ hands and I can be sure that we will enjoy “our” home in Paris. ”

“We found the apartment Rue Cler pleasant and beautiful. It had the amenities of a home. Close to both bus and metro which permit us to take the Paris public transport to all the sights. We actually found ourselves asking if we could live in the apartment on a permanent basis and the answer was yes. We also found A la Carte to be helpful when we encounter a small issue with the apartment through no fault of theirs. Natalya was very helpful in trying to resolve the issue. The location of the apartment permit us to immerse ourselves in the Parisian lifestyle which we enjoyed enormously. The A La Carte team helped us celebrate our wedding anniversary and it was a warm welcome touch! I would definitely recommend Al Carte to my friends and family.”

“We stayed at this Rue Cler apartment in July 2017 with our two children, ages 9 and 11. We absolutely loved everything about the apartment. The location in the Rue Cler cannot be beat and the size of the apartment was perfect for a family of four. The decor and furnishings were absolutely beautiful and the bathroom was one of our favorites during our 4 week vacation in Europe. Everything you could possibly want (market, produce stands, bakery, restaurants, metro) is outside your door which made our stay perfect! Also, the wifi was fast and had a strong signal.”

“My husband and I very much enjoyed our 8 day stay at the Eiffel Rue Cler apartment. The apartment was just as it appeared on the A La Carte Paris website. It was clean, spacious, comfortable and in a great location for exploring Paris. Many wonderful neighborhood shops and cafes were close by. The metro was just a short walk away. The staff at A La Carte Paris were very courteous and helpful with any questions we had, and we especially appreciated their arranging transportation to and from the airport. A La Carte Paris is very professional and well organized. We were well pleased with their service and with our apartment and would confidently rent from them again. Staying in a apartment is so much nicer than being in a cramped hotel room.”
John Jackson stayed in April 2017
“We very much enjoyed our week staying at the Rue Cler apartment. It was just the right size and had everything my wife and I needed for a relaxing time. The apartment is very convenient to the markets and bakery which made it easy to pick up fresh fruit, cheeses, meat and bread each day. And having several nice cafes close by was an added plus. We look forward to our next stay with A La Carte Paris.”
Christina Kinlaw from North Carolina, United States stayed in October 2016
“Gemma was always EXTREMELY responsive and helpful to the best of her ability. We were welcomed with a bottle of champagne in the refrigerator. Overall, this is a great apartment and is definitely in a FANTASTIC location. Rue Cler is an amazing little street. The apartment seemed clean, sheets tidy, and two full size towels provided for each of us. The modular closet was great and had plenty of room to unpack and stow our luggage. There was plenty of lighting and the bed was comfortable. When you stay here, you will be in the middle of Rue Cler...you can see the shops opening and closing and everyone walking by. There is a fruit stand directly downstairs that had the most amazing mangos! Down the street at the Franprix you can use the orange juice extractor to bottle your own fresh OJ - the best we've ever had. We purchased roses for the table from a florist downstairs and they stayed amazingly fresh and were beautiful. Most shop owners will help if your French is not up to par. I highly recommend walking this street and visiting all of the shops. It was convenient to have a washer and dryer in the apartment! Thank you!”
Philip Von Backstrom from Oregon, United States stayed in October 2016
“This was our first extended stay in Paris and we are hooked. We were very pleased, far exceeding our expectations. Cleanliness is number one for me and this place is great in this regard. The location is central to everything, convenient, convenient in every way. We'd stay here again when visiting Paris, why look anywhere else when you've found perfection - quality, value, clean, perfect communication, easy access to anywhere in Paris. If you are on the fence booking this lovely place or a first time Airbnb traveling, take the plunge, you won't be disappointed. Thank you for a great experience.

Julie & Lauren McNamara from Australia stayed in August 2016
“My daughter and I stayed at the Eiffel Rue Cler apartment and I would like to thank everyone at A La Carte Paris for the amazing experience. We chose to make use of the airport pick up and it was so very nice after 25 hours of travelling to have someone that knew exactly where to go and help us settle in to our apartment. Our first impression was WOW, it was just as beautiful as the pictures and so very clean. Champagne and chocolates was a lovely gesture and started us on our way to the absolute best holiday in my life. The location was walking distance to absolutely everything which we discovered on our very first outing when we walked for a few minutes, turned a corner and there was the beautiful Eiffel Tower. The facilities in the apartment made us feel like we lived there and I have to stress again how clean it was! The booklet of how everything worked and advice on local shopping, public transport etc we found invaluable. I would only add one thing and that is the Café Constant to your local eateries. Set price lunch became a habit for us! I would recommend A La Carte to anyone wanting a Paris rental as the whole experience from the moment we booked to getting home was professional and easy! It was my first trip to Europe and a very high standard has been set for future holidays!”
Natasha Triglau from Australia stayed in June 2016
“We have just returned back to Australia after our 5 week holiday in Europe and I wanted to send a belated thank you for your assistance and support during our stay in Paris.
We stayed in Eiffel rue Cler for 7 nights and were very pleased with the apartment. It's location is excellent, right in the heart of a wonderful street full of lots of food options. We took full advantage of its proximity to excellent shopping, food vendors, sight seeing and metro stations. The apartment is very well equipped, light and airy, quiet and well decorated. We felt very supported by yourself, you answered all our questions and were helpful and informative before and during our stay.
We have been to Paris many times before and stayed in some lovely hotels but I think our recent stay was a highlight as it gave us a taste of living like a local and was far more cost effective for our family. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone.”
Cassandra Brown from Georgia, United States stayed in June 2016
“Enjoyed my stay. The pictures of the apartment are an accurate depiction, it truly is well appointed and charming. The location couldn't be better, an upscale neighborhood with a market, butcher, fishmonger, cheese shop, wine shop, and a plethora of restaurants. All of this just outside the door, with the Eiffel Tower a 15 minute walk. Check in/out was easy and we were pleasantly surprised to receive a bottle of wine and fresh flowers awaiting our arrival.”
Lynn Erickson from United States stayed in April 2016
“The Eiffel Rue Cler apartment was comfortable, clean and centrally located. It served us very well as we explored Paris. The reservation and check-in/check-out processes were quick and simple. Thanks for a great experience!”

“Very comfortable apartment, perfect location , only five minutes' walk to Eiffel tower, downstairs have supermarket, coffee shop, restaurant,...,,.the owner is very very kind and sweet, my flight is in the afternoon time, she also let me late check-out!! Anyway such great time , I will back soon”
Anne-Marie McCall from New Zealand stayed in December 2015
“My two teenage children and I very recently stayed in the Eiffel Rue Cler apartment for 6 amazing days. We were met at the train station and taken to our apartment which made everything so much easier as it was our first time in Paris! The apartment was just as it looked online & we were not disappointed at all. Everything from the furnishings, to the linen & amenities were perfect and it was lovely and warm! We shopped right outside our apartment each day for fruit, wine and baguettes, it was an easy walk to the Eiffel Tour, the bus and metro & we were spoiled with so many cafes in our street each night for dinner. We could not have been happier in our little apartment which made our stay in Paris perfect & I would highly recommend this apartment. The team at A La Carte were very easy to deal with & quick to respond to any booking queries I had & they have been great following up after our stay as well!”
Christine Paterson from Australia stayed in September 2015
“The apartment in Rue Cler was wonderful. The location was perfect -close to the metro but also close enough to walk anywhere in Paris. We loved being able to open the windows and see the street life below with so many restaurants and food shops. The A La Carte team are great to deal with from start to finish. We could not get our TV to work and
they immediately sent someone around to fix it. There was a slight hiccup on arrival when our booked taxi did not arrive at Gare du Nord to pick us up but we were able to easily get a taxi ourselves and we used the suggested taxi company in the notes at the apartment for our departure and there was no problem at all.”
Peter & Irene Back from Australia stayed in July 2015
“We had a wonderful stay at Rue Cler. The apartment was perfectly arranged and exactly as depicted on the web-site.
The location is a treat, right in the heart of Rue Cler for a true local experience. Thanks again and we look forward to our next visit to Paris.”
Judy & James Migro from Australia stayed in May 2015
“This stunning apartment is just as it looks in the photos, but what they cant show is the atmosphere of Rue Cler out the window. I spent many an hour just looking down on Rue Cler and enjoying the antics of the passersby. The décor is so tastefully done it was just a dream to live there. Close to everything with a very close metro stop, you have access to the whole of Paris. Very good supermarkets met all our needs and the cafes and restaurants below were there for quite a few of our meals. So nice to just walk out the door and there it is. There were a few too many stairs for an old girl like me, but knowing what was at the top of them was worth the effort. Nice to stroll to the Eiffel Tower each night and watch the blinking lights on the hour. Definitely recommend Eiffel Rue Cler apartment and hope to return one day.”
Van Mary Pham stayed in April 2015
“My family and I enjoyed staying in Eiffel Rue Cler apartment. It's a wonderful location! My family and I enjoyed our afternoon walks to the Eiffel Tower where the kids had a great time playing in the park at the base of the tower. All the specialty food shops, cafe and restaurants just outside the apartment is great for the kids, especially with their love fromage, foie gras and the freshly made pate. The apartment itself is very clean and comfortable, which we great appreciate after returning from a long day of adventures around the city. The kids didn't like climbing the narrow stairs each evening when we come back to the apartment, but it's worth the narrow climb to a clean and comfortable place to rest. We prefer staying in an apartment like this over staying in a hotel room. My family and I have absolutely nothing bad to say about the apartment we rented. I would definitely rebook the next time we return to France.”
Simone Nathan from United States stayed in February 2015
“The apartment was perfect for us. It is comfortable, well-appointed and decorated in neutral colors. (They even provide umbrellas!) The kitchen and bathroom are well equipped, and we appreciated A La Carte's detailed instructions for using all the appliances. The location is fantastic, close to the Eiffel Tower, metro and several bus stops. Rue Cler has everything you need - bakery, many restaurants, two supermarkets, take-out food, and a pharmacy. ”
Gordon & Yvonne Smith from Australia stayed in October 2014
“'When Yvonne and I decided on a stay in Paris after our Spain and Morocco holiday we went to our travel agent to arrange accommodation for us. Alas what they suggested was not what we wanted, in location and price. A friend of ours suggested we book online through A La Carte Paris. We looked at the site and were pleasantly surprised with what we found. Having decided on Eiffel Rue Cler we sent our application and what followed gave us peace of mind. The booking process was simple, payment was easy to arrange and they were also able to book airport transfers for us. On our arrival our pick-up was on time and we were helped upstairs with our luggage to the apartment. The apartment was exactly as it was represented on the website. Everything was neat and tidy, instructions were provided on how to operate the appliances, all the knick knacks one would use at home were on hand. The washing machine/dryer came in very handy. What made our stay was even more enjoyable was the location. Rue Cler was wonderful, restaurants, fromagerie, pharmacy, boulangerie, wine shop and supermarket all on our doorstep. Add to this the close proximity of the Ecole Militaire Metro station made everything in Paris not too far away. We certainly enjoyed our week in Paris at Eiffel Rue Cler and will have many fond memories of our stay. I will certainly be recommending A La Carte Paris to all our friends.'”
Linda Ballou & Tom Irey from Australia stayed in September 2014
“Eiffel Rue Cler is in an awesome location, perhaps the best in Paris – easy walking distance to the Metro, a useful bus line, the Eiffel Tower, the Invalides, even the Rodin Museum. The floor plan of the apartment is very logical. Furnishings, décor and lighting are very tasteful, comfortable and practical. After any busy day out, it felt so relaxing to return to this haven. The full kitchen made it fun and easy to cook or warm up the yummy items we found at the charcuteries below us. Rue Cler’s amazing array of shops for fresh produce, delicious charcuterie, cheeses, wines, bread, and general groceries is right outside the front door! This treat was enhanced by the numerous popular cafés and eateries that lined the entire street. We loved the lively atmosphere under us, yet still found it quiet to sleep at night, thanks to the well-insulated windows. It was easy to quickly start referring to this as “our home".”
Andre & Victoria Sartorio from United States stayed in August 2014
“Our experience with the A La Carte Paris rental Rue Cler was delightful! The apartment decor was just as pictured, very clean, and the perfect size for us. Katy and Sarah were most helpful and we enjoyed the chocolates and wine that we found as a welcome upon our arrival. A booklet that was complete with local and apartment information was available and also very helpful. The immediate area around the apartment is ideal with several restaurants, fruit and flower vendors, pharmacy, grocery and various other food and wine shops. Just a few blocks away, there are two main streets with many shops and restaurants, as well as the metro. We were within an easy walking distance to the Eiffel Tower, the Trocadero, the Seine, the Marine and Quai Branly Museums, and Invalides Army Museum and Napoleons Tomb. The metro stop allowed for easy travel to the St. Germain area, as well as other parts of central Paris.
We would highly recommend A La Carte Paris apartments to anyone who wants to experience a more local flavor by actually “living" in Paris. It was our “Best Paris Stay Ever”!”
John & Anna Redwood from New Zealand stayed in January 2014
“In an A La Carte apartment, you get the chance to live like a local for a few days - even mundane tasks like getting the breakfast traditionelle (or pain au chocolat) and the morning paper (which can easily be the Financial Times or the NY Times if your French doesn't stretch to the local press) becomes part of the holiday experience. Rue Cler is like a permanent market - an array of butchers, delicatessens, high and not-so-high end grocers, wine shops, cafes, bistro... everything you could imagine, all within a couple of hundred metres. Having wandered all around the city, I couldn't think of a better base. We'll be back! ”
Lana Winzar from Australia stayed in December 2013
“I absolutely loved this beautiful and spacious apartment that provided a luxury stay during my Paris holiday! With everything I needed and more including a fully equipped kitchen to cook some of the fresh produce found on the street right outside my doorstep, large comfortable couch and bed, and more importantly a spacious bathroom with the best water pressure I found in all of Europe! Great location as its only a short walk from many tourist destinations, plenty of restaurants/bars, not much shopping but right around the corner from the metro that departs every 5 minutes. Exceeding my expectations as the apartment actually looks smaller in the pics, I could not have asked for more especially leaning outside my balcony seeing the Christmas lights sparkle and carollers singing :D”
Geoff & Janice Forrester from Australia stayed in October 2013
“We recently had the pleasure of staying at the A La Carte Paris Eiffel Rue Cler apartment. The cleanliness, layout and comfort offered was outstanding. The area of Rue Cler offers without doubt some of the best food in Paris. Being in a position to securely, literally walk out of the front door and be treated to great food and wine is the stuff of dreams. This was our third experience with A La Carte Paris, each apartment was in a different area and the standard of accommodation in each one has been consistently outstanding. We will certainly stay with A La Carte Paris when we make our next trip.”
Judy & Trevor Jordan/Bayly from New Zealand stayed in September 2013
“We loved our stay in Eiffel Rue Cler apartment. Great location and a bonus having a quality food market plus 2 mini supermarkets at the front door. Lots of great cafes in nearby side streets serving very good French cuisine. However did find Restaurants Tribeca and Marche in the street rather touristy. The apartment was beautifully furnished, quiet and very comfortable. Everything we needed. We have rented many apartments in European cities and this is the best. We appreciated you providing sufficient soap, washing powder for laundry and dishes for our stay. Good bed and lots of storage. Plus reliable taxi pickups for train and airport. We are already recommending this apartment to friends.”
Cherie Maiden from United States stayed in August 2013
“My stay at the Eiffel Rue Cler apartment exceeded my expectations. The apartment is beautiful and the location is ideal. The lovely gift of wine and fruit that was provided made me feel very welcome upon my arrival. In addition to having reliable wifi service, it was a real bonus to be able to make free international calls. Due to all the amenities that are available, I had all that was necessary to be comfortable and to enjoy the time spent in the apartment. I appreciated the peace and quiet of the apartment when I wanted to relax or work on my research project. Yet, it was also wonderful to be located on a lively street where there were many restaurants, shops, and a variety of specialty foods stores. Many thanks to the A la Carte staff for providing exceptional accommodations.”
