“Thanks for every thing, our apartment was very clen, new and very elegant. Very well located, 5 minutes from every where. For sure we will come back.”

“Our stay at the Marais Panache apartment was excellent. It is well located and we were able to walk to many of the museums that were of interest to us. And, there are many good restaurants in the neighborhood — try Boboli which is a block or so away. We would certainly stay there again.”

“We had the most amazing stay in the Marais Panache apartment! We could not have imagined staying in a better place or in a better location in Paris.

The apartment had everything we needed and more! It was spotlessly clean, and beautifully styled. Every room looks out onto the quaint little street and there is a balcony leading from the living room. The whole apartment is light and airy with double doors that open out. The apartment is two flights up but that was not a problem because the staircase is not too narrow like some other Parisian apartment buildings.

The apartment is situated in a quaint little street parallel to Rue de Rivoli, a main street in Paris. The area is close to restaurants, shops, cafes and supermarkets. Everything you need is right at your fingertips. The quaint and pretty streets of the Marais are amazing to explore. A stroll to the beautiful Seine took us 5 minutes and Notre Dame is only a 10 minute walk.

We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again in this stunning apartment!

“My husband and I just spent two months in Paris and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Marais Panache apartment! The apartment is in the heart of the Marais on Rue du Roi de Sicile, about a block away from the St. Paul Metro station. The location could not be more ideal. We were able to immerse ourselves in our neighborhood and took advantage of the wonderful diversity of shops, cafes, markets and so many little streets waiting to be discovered. Having the Metro so close allowed us to easily explore all the arrondissements, simply by deciding which line we wanted to transfer to in a few short stops.

The apartment itself was perfect for us. Tastefully decorated, plenty of space and tons of natural light with many large windows that all opened. The remodeled and fully equipped kitchen made cooking easy, which we did an number of days each week. A terrace that runs the length of the apartment was a definite plus! Many cups of coffee in the morning and glasses of wine in the evening were enjoyed while sitting above a street that is great for people watching and alive with activity. It was hard for us to leave after an such an extended stay…it really started to feel like home.

Everyone on the A La Carte team was great to work with. From our initial apartment inquiry, to finalizing arrangements and accommodating a late check in…each person we communicated with was friendly, professional and quick to answer any questions we had.

We will surely be back and would definitely stay in the Marais Panache apartment again!”

“We stayed for the whole month in Marais Panache 1 bedroom apartment. The apartment is in absolutely great location (we walked everywhere, ate everywhere and shopped everywhere). The apartment is very comfortable, well equipped and clean. Katy was very efficient and helpful in booking the apartment and Gemma was a great help when we arrived.
The only thing, it's on the second European floor with spiral staircase (no elevator), so if you have problem walking, it's a little challenging, but we liked it, because it didn't make us feel guilty, for eating all the baguettes.
I don't want to write too many good things, because too many people would want it and I will not be able to rent it again.
We are coming back. Thank you for everything.”

“The Marais Panache apartment was perfect. It was in a great location in the Marais. The street was quiet. When it was not raining we sat out on the small balcony. Plus everyone at A La Carte Paris was great. I really highly recommend the Marais Panache apartment and A La Carte Paris. Thanks for helping to make our ten day stay in Paris as wonderful as possible.”
Mindy & Keith Wills from United States stayed in November 2015
“We spent ten wonderful days in this apartment in the marais district. The apartment looked exactly like the website presentation and was warm, comfortable and cozy. The metro is one short block away, on line 1, which has stops for the Champs Elysées, the Louvre, the Tuileries gardens, Arch de Triomphe, place de la Concorde, and Chateau de Vincennes, which is a medieval castle.
You could easily spend the day/evening walking the neighborhood. It has plenty of wonderful shops and restaurants, courtyards that pop up unexpectedly with art displays or bistros. When we moved to le Bristol (hotel stay won at fundraiser) for the last two nights, the first thing the very posh concierge recommended was to spend the day in the marais district!!

We arrived in Paris 11/27, two weeks after the terrorist attack and one day before the global climate conference. I never ever felt afraid or uncomfortable. There is security everywhere and the Parisians were very kind and grateful we came. I'm so glad we went and would have stayed longer if possible. I encourage anyone thinking of going to Paris to go and use this company for an amazing.experience.

I was so impressed with Katy and A La Carte Paris, they truly took care of everything, arragned transportation from the airport, AND from apartment to the hotel. No hiccups or unpleasant surprises. I will absolutely use them again and I have a feeling some of my Facebook friends will as well. Many requests for location and management company. We will be renting apartments instead of hotels from now on, prices are comparable but the apartment is so much more private and really gives a unique experience of living in Paris!! 10+”

“Marais is fantastic area to be based for a Paris sojourn. We have stayed in Marais in the past so had a good idea of streets, landmarks and flow which allowed us to walk on foot, close and as far as Buttes-Chaumont Park for a picnic, and not get too directionally-challenged!
We decided not to book at any restaurant throwing caution to the wind with dining each night and, as expected, enjoyed the individuality, nuances and offerings each restaurant gave us. Marais Panache is brilliantly located, in a great street at the quieter end - we didn't hear any noise during the evenings so slept exceptionally sound. The apartment is sunny, light, very comfortable and well equipped. The selling point for us was the full length doors that opened onto the apartment's small balcony overlooking the street - illy coffee and croissants fresh from the boulangerie each morning, followed by vin rouge et fromage of an evening formed our daily 'balcony' routine.
A La Carte is a definite when we stay in Paris, attention at booking enquiry, reservation, arrival/greeting to any requests/advice during stay are prompt with genuine hospitality and interest in needs extended. We're looking forward to our next visit.”

“For the third time in two years, we were delighted to enjoy a June vacation in Paris, and as with previous visits, our stay was made even more enjoyable by using A La Carte Paris to arrange our accommodation and even our transport from and to the airport. We have complete faith in what the ALCP Booking Team recommends, and how they conduct the administration for the visit.
On this recent occasion, we chose the Marais Panache, a beautifully fresh and elegant apartment in the Marais, on Rue du Roi de Sicile. The location is really great, just a few steps away from the bustling Rue de Rivoli, a Metro, a bus stop, and numerous typical Cafes, Boulangeries and supermarkets, all ready to provide a prepared breakfast, lunch or dinner, or the provisions needed to make your own in the well appointed kitchen of the Marais Panache. The apartment has a large bedroom with lots of closet space, a comfortable sitting/dining room, and a modern bathroom with separate toilet. Full length french windows (practically soundproof) open onto a small but charming terrace with chairs and table, where we enjoyed breakfasts, and early evening glasses of wine.
We can't emphasize too much the location of this apartment, just minutes from Place des Vosges and the Hotel Sully courtyard, and just a few extra minutes easy walk to the Bastille, Musee Carnavalet, Musee Picasso, and the Archives. Within 15 easy minutes you can also be at the amazing Georges Pompidou Center, and the very heart of the exciting Marais district. Finally, dare we mention it, the Rue du Roi de Sicile actually leads straight to one of the entrance doors to the large department store, BHV, which conveniently has a Starbucks adjacent to the cafeteria on the top floor, for a shopping experience coffee, or where dutiful husbands can relax while other shopping is carried out.
In summary, we have never been disappointed with an A La Carte recommended apartment, and the Marais Panache is no exception.”
Anna Ciccarelli from Australia stayed in September 2014
“It was a pleasure to deal with A La Carte Paris again. We appreciate the responsive and quality service and prompt communication. We again chose to stay in the Marais a wonderful district. The Marais Panache was excellent. Clearly recently renovated and with a full kitchen that worked. It was also charmingly decorated. We would definitely stay there again even without a lift :)”
David & Rita Hamilton from Australia stayed in July 2014
“In the first instance, A La Carte handled our initial enquiries right though to our arrival in Paris with total professionalism. We were met with a bottle of wine, chocolates and a warm greeting from a staff member to settle us in. We thoroughly enjoyed our 10 day long stay in Marais Panache - the location was perfect, just around the corner from St Paul metro, and in the centre of the exciting Marais area. The apartment was bright and more than spacious enough for two people. It was beautifully decorated, with tasteful furnishing, a very comfortable bed and plenty of storage/hanging space. The compact kitchen and the apartment in general is equipped with everything you could possibly need for a holiday stay. Overall, it was a lovely apartment and we would definitely recommend A La Carte and Marais Panache to anyone looking for accommodation in Paris.”
Carol Carlton from Australia stayed in December 2013
“I am pleased to say that the apartment was everything and more than I expected from the photographs on your website. It was spotless and slightly larger than I had anticipated. I found the apartment very spacious and comfortable, fantastic heating meant it was very warm and cosy. I have visited Paris at least 6 times and I can now say that the Marais is probably my favourite arrondissement to stay. The apartment location was fantastic for little supermarkets, speciality cheese, chocolate and delicatessens as well as the great baker across the road on rue de rivoli. I can highly recommend the quiches from the bakery. Whilst the metro was across the road I found it just as convenient to walk most of the time, with the Louvre taking approx 25 minutes for a brisk stroll or around 10 minutes to the Notre Dame. The local area outside is a pot pourri of small and windy intercrossing streets which house lovely boutiques, speciality food and chocolate shops as well as a myriad of cafes and restaurants. Next time I return to Paris and stay more than 1 or 2 nights my first consideration will be booking one of your apartments. I have already recommended your website to friends and colleagues who are considering visiting Paris in the near future.”
Mary & Emily Jackson from Australia stayed in November 2013
“My daughter and I stayed in the Marais Panache for one week in December 2013 to celebrate her 18th birthday. We were very pleased to find that the apartment was just as represented in the photos-well appointed with all that we required, pretty decor and very clean. The location was perfect for us and we spent many hours happily walking and exploring Le Marais and neighbouring districts with ease-including walking up the Champs Elysees from the apartment. Local shops and fashion boutiques, restaurants and the metro stop were just a few steps away and we, as two females, felt very safe walking in the area at all times of day and evening. The polite driver and lovely car pick up service provided for us by Katy at the station to get to the apartment was so quick and easy - I will definitely use that service again. This was my fourth stay in Paris and my first stay in an A La Carte property. I will definitely go straight to A La Carte for an apartment again for our next Paris stay because of the location, quality and amenity of their apartments and the very good service provided by the company. Thank you, A La Carte and Katy.”
Larry & Adrian Fishman from United States stayed in September 2013
“We have just completed our amazing stay in Paris. To begin we were met by a driver who made our entrance to Paris smooth, not to mention the bottle of wine and fruit waiting for us. To our delight the Panache lived up to our expectations and then some. The apartment was fabulous, spotlessly clean, wonderful linens, wifi, closet space, close to the metro and in the center of the Marais. We have been fortunate to have travelled all over the world and our stay here was the most comfortable one. We would be eager and thrilled to do it again and recommend it to everyone.”
Sharon Marks & Noel Martin from Australia stayed in September 2013
“We stayed at a wonderful apartment in early September 2013. 'Paris Panache' was superb in every respect - sophisticated, beautifully decorated, fabulous location, very clean and a comfortable bed with lovely linen. A La Carte even provided a good bottle of red wine (and a huge bowl of summer fruits that kept us going for the week). We would highly recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to stay in Le Marais (4e) and would definitely return as it made our 1st week of a 6 week sojourn in France totally fabulous.”
David & Helen Peel from Australia stayed in June 2013
“We recently enjoyed two weeks in this compact yet comfortable apartment. The best feature was that it is 50 meters from St.Paul Metro. We used the Metro most days and were able to explore many different areas of Paris. Like most Paris apartments the sound proofing was not great however we slept soundly and the street was relatively quiet. We will be using this apartment next time we are in Paris. Thank you also for the limo service it worked well.”
Janelle Ward from Australia stayed in March 2013
“I would wholeheartedly recommend alacarte to visitors to Paris. The apartment I booked in the marais was exactly as expected, in the most perfect location, very comfortable and clean. Booking and payment was very easy, the staff welcome - despite our unexpected late arrival due to a train delay - was terrific, friendly and comprehensive and the bowl of fruit and bottle of wine a lovely touch. The info pack was terrific and we made good use of the Paris guidebook. The wifi worked beautifully and was free - unlike at our next stay, an expensive Dubai hotel. Also enjoyed the emails about paris from Alex Wagner.
Will definitely recommend A la Carte to anyone heading that way and hope to return sooner rather than later.”
Sue & Bryan Govier from Australia stayed in February 2013
“I'd just like to let you know how pleased we were with the Marais Panache apartment we stayed in in early February. we had a lovely week & enjoyed the beautiful little apartment immensely. The location was wonderful. being met at the door & shown about was a great help. The free wifi was indeed free, & unlike quite a few other establishments we have stayed in, actually enabled a connection! The apartment was spotlessly clean & contained everything needed to make our stay in Paris a pleasant one. And staying in an apartment feels more like 'living in Paris' than staying in an hotel. I hope that we can return to Paris some day &, if so, we will certainly book with Alacarteparis, & we will recommend you to our friends & family.”
Amanda & Scott Lambert from Australia stayed in October 2012
“We stayed at the new Marais Panache apartment and were extremely happy with our choice. Our arrival was very smooth with the very friendly Jacquie making sure we had everything we needed. We have stayed at an apartment before and the liaison person was not nearly so good! The apartment was furnished beautifully and contained everything we could want for our stay. The bed was very comfortable, lighting was excellent and the interior design and decoration was very tasteful in lovely muted beige and cream colours.
The location could not have been better. Just a few steps from St Paul's metro and within walking distance to everything you could want. It was great to be able to walk down a few streets and see "Tosca" at the Bastille Opera. Great little bars, restaurants and supermarkets nearby. The windows did a great job of keeping the noise out at night so we slept like babies! Shower is hot with good pressure, separate toilet is a great idea and we loved the big wardrobes to be able to hang our clothes. The kitchen worked beautifully and the little laundry was ideal for our needs. Would very happily recommend this apartment and certainly we want to stay there again!”
Rebecca Porter from United States stayed in October 2012
“We are back home in Iowa City, now... After the most exciting and wonderful week in Paris!! From the moment we arrived, and were faithfully met at the airport, until the moment the plane lifted us into the air enroute to Dublin, was perfect... You and your workmates did a splendid job ... The apartment (flat) was PERFECT!! We LOVED it!! Neither of us wanted to leave it! We truly felt 'at home' there from the moment we walked in until the moment it was time to leave. I cannot wait to go back there. Please let the owner know that we really did appreciate her/his apartment and used it with the great care that we use our own home. The highlights of our trip? Eating lunch at Le Grand Vefour, sitting in the Monet room at L'Orangerie, sitting in the tapestry room at the Museum of the Middle Ages, the lentils at Ambassade d'Auvergne (great food for a stormy winter's night after a day of cross-country skiing - not a mid-summer's night after a late afternoon nap :/ ) and discovering a really kind sales person in a nearby soap shop who indulged me in my broken French & I in her broken English. Thank you, Katy, for all that you did on our behalf. We are already starting to talk about our next trip to Paris - and beyond!”
