“My stay in the Left Bank Studio was very pleasant and the area is a historic Left Bank section near shops and Galleries. Everyone was very nice, and even when there was a Bastille area strike and my UBER was terribly late the apt team was very accommodating. The apartment was clean and though “tres petite” was perfect for fashion week! ”
Susan Armour from United States stayed in July 2017
“I loved Paris! The Eiffel View apartment rental helped to make my visit great! The cabinets were supplied with everything we needed; soaps, condiments, cutlery, dishes, etc. The view from the two balcony windows in the front of the apt. was gorgeous, as we overlooked the excitement of nightlife on Rue Cler and adored the illumination of the Eiffel tower each evening. The gentleman that met us on the first day was wonderful and knowledgable, able to answer all of our questions. I felt so very safe with the entry doors, the lighting, and digital locking system. The adorable elevator made adventures so easy to come and go. There is no question that when I visit Paris again, I will stay in the Eiffel View Apt. In fact, I just didn't even want to leave! ”

“Orsay Studio is a lovely, well-appointed apartment in one of Paris’s finest neighbourhoods. My one-week stay there in early October, 2016, was everything I could have wished for. I can recommend the property without hesitation.

A La Carte sets the gold standard in Paris apartment rentals. Leasing an apartment in a foreign city can often be akin to buying a pig in poke. Will you really know what will await you upon arrival? Will the property be as advertised? Since Orsay Studio was my third rental with A La Carte, I can say without reservation that their outstanding apartments are exactly as shown on their excellent website. They are modern, up-to-date, beautifully decorated, and in the most desirable “quartiers” of Paris.

I would be remiss if I did not mention the superb job done by the staff of the company, particularly Katy and Gemma. They are professional, efficient, and highly personable. They make renting with A La Carte a breeze.

Un grand merci pour une visite extraordinaire! Et “à la prochaine!”

“We loved being able to walk almost everywhere. It's a great location--and fine restaurants just a few steps down the street--we'd like to add "La Bonne Excuse" to your list, 48 Rue de Verneuil--& of course the Eric Kayser Boulangerie at the corner, where we'd get our croissant and coffee every morning, and the little Epicerie directly across the street, where we got water, juice, brioche, etc...the lively Cinq Mars restaurant down the street...walking to the Louvre, Tuileries, cafés in St. Germain; the Rue du Bac was our handy metro station, easy walking; it was fun to feel like we had our own neighborhood in Paris...”
Kathleen Baldwin from United States stayed in February 2016
“The studio was PERFECT for me - spacious and comfortable, with all the amenities I needed. The street is very quiet - a boon to a light sleeper like me! It’s situated very conveniently to the Musée d’Orsay, of course, to the Seine, and to the St. Germain area. I found it to be exactly what I needed for this trip.

I don’t know how soon I will be returning to Paris, but I will definitely contact you in that event. In the meantime, I am singing your praises to everyone with whom I share my stories of this delightful trip.

Thank you!”

“This was our second stay at an A La Carte Paris apartment, and here¹s why we came back to this agency, and will come back again. The apartments are always clean, safe, well-stocked and in a wonderful location - two blocks
from the Musee D¹Orsay! The staff is friendly, helpful and accessible. Everything works. Everything is reliable. I just don¹t have to worry about doing business with A La Carte, and I know that when I get to Paris, my stay will be wonderful! Staying in an apartment is the best way to relax and enjoy Paris, and A La Carte does everything right about apartment rentald. Thanks for a great holiday!”

“The delightful Orsay Studio was our base for a 12 day stay in Paris. It had everything we needed for a home away from home. Our little street was charming with the best boulangerie, epicerie, cheese and chocolate shops within a few steps, as well as interesting art and antique studios, even a quirky shoe maker. Friendly bars and restaurants nearby. All of Paris major attractions are within walking distance (or metro). A perfect Paris experience. Thanks to A La Carte Paris for their helpful and professional management of our wonderful holiday.”
Toni & John Shields from Canada stayed in September 2015
“We were very pleased with our stay at the Orsay Studio Apartment. The apartment itself was exactly as shown on the Internet. The location was very good for us. We soon found how close we were to many sights and as we love walking, we were able to get around much of Paris on foot. Sadly, we didn't discover some great stores and cafes until the day before we were to leave.
We hope to return to Paris again in the near future and would certainly hope to stay at the Orsay Studio Apartment.
Also Katy, booking through you made our experience very easy. You answered all our questions and handled the arrangements for us. Thank you for all your help.”
Connie and Joey Curmi from Australia stayed in September 2015
“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Orsay Studio. The apartment was as the photos showed and had everything that was mentioned in the links. It was in a very good location. The welcome pack was a beautiful touch with the wine and chocolates on arrival. The folder had very useful information in it and was valuable in getting to know the area.
Having the kitchen basics and washing facilities was great and everything was clean and neat. We truly appreciated the pickup from the train station and drop off at the airport organization that you did for us and the ease in which this was done. We would definitely recommend this apartment and your service to family and friends.
We would like to extend our thanks to you and look forward to visiting your beautiful country again.

“We did indeed have a wonderful stay at the Orsay Studio thank you. Paris was our first destination and we loved it. We have just returned from our month long trip in Europe. We are feeling pretty tired right now but had a fantastic time!
The Orsay Studio is in a fantastic location for what we wanted to do and see - so close to lots of attractions and right in the heart of a real Paris street amongst the locals. We walked just about everywhere and apart from the 'hop and on off' boat and bus we didn't use public transport. There are lots of great restaurants and useful shops nearby. The studio is compact, clean with great facilities and a really comfortable bed. It had all we needed. We had a wonderful stay there!”

“First I would like to tell your future customers that A La Carte Paris is an outstanding and ethical business and will add great value and eliminate concerns someone would have booking a Paris apartment for the first time. They made all aspects from booking, paying, coordinating taxi service, to and from the airport, a process that eliminates negative surprises. Lastly, do take advantage of all the helpful hints they send you. I know we did try all the recommendations, and they added great value to our interactions with the people of Paris.
The Orsay Studio apartment is a perfect compact apartment for two people. The kitchen is practical, washer dryer in a single unit, and all the appliances are designed to let you cook and or snack with all the tools you need. The grocery store is only two small blocks away, and people shop there for a one or two day supply, similar to metro inhabitants in our country, you'll find all you need there. The bakery is at the end of the block 150 feet away, if you need a wake up call open the window the first aroma of fresh bread enters the apartment at 4:00am then each hour until 6:00am. You won't get up that early but you will dream about what your going to get there later. The bathroom is compact and very clean. The apartment is clean and very tasteful.
The main feature is location. The Orsay Museum and the Metro train stop that goes directly to Versailles without train changes is a block away. That same location is on the Seine River, the hop on hop off boat, the night light dinner cruise boats are right there and we recommend both.
The Louvre Museum is just two blocks away. Two blocks in the other direction is St.Germaine street, full of shops, sidewalk cafes, metro and bus stops and is a nice high energy experience.
The Solferino metro station has maps, get the one that shows the Paris landmarks with the subway overlays so you can see where you want to go, then see which metro gets you there.
Metro 12 takes you to a short walking distance from the Moulin Rouge, take in the show its better than the best in Vegas. Stay one more stop and your at the stop for Sacré-Coeur church on the hill in Montmartre a fun village like environment to shop and sight see, just make sure you take the elevator to get to the top, or you'll be out breath on the circular stairs. Notre Dame is a short metro stop or a little longer walk up the Seine, make sure to catch St Chappel church a block away from Notre Dame, one of the finest collections of stained glass windows you'll ever see. Visit the near by parks full of, statues, ponds, flowers, trees, and cafes, take the metro train to Luxembourg Castle and garden on a Saturday, and see the Paris people enjoying life in a beautiful tranquil setting. We felt we were lucky to find such a great apartment in such an outstanding location.
Three suggestions: One, catch the Eiffel Tower at night on the hour and video the strobe lights. Two, if you don't have a chip credit card, we do, get with your banking institution and get one, it's far more secure and how all the people in Europe purchase things, American is behind the curve on this issue. Three, Take your iPad and pull up the best French fries in Paris, number two is a short walk away, my partner is kind of a health nut and we wound up eating French fries with every meal, it became a kind of Fun joke, you'll see.”

“I first stayed at Orsay Studio in 2013 and found that it suited me perfectly, so I was delighted that it was available for my recent visit to Paris. First impressions of this apartment when one enters...Immaculate, Welcoming, très Chic! It is exactly as represented on the À La Carte Paris website. My congratulations to whom ever prepares the apartment for the next Guest. The attention to detail is impeccable. This elegant, cosy apartment is fully equipped with all the accoutrements that one needs for a truly relaxed and comfortable stay. Another PLUS, the building has an elevator and is conveniently located within walking distance to the Musée d'Orsay, Le Louvre, Notre Dame, Le Batobus, the Metro and the famous Boulevard Saint-Germain...Located in a quiet building and street, this apartment is surrounded by bistros and cafés with one of the most famous boulangeries, a tempting épicerie and a well-stocked Monoprix for all ones supplies, only a few steps away. My thanks to Katy and the Team at A La Carte Paris for
the assistance they provided to me, which ensured that my stay at Orsay Studio was once again, mémorable.
On this my second visit, I felt as though I had come home.
Merci beaucoup A La Carte Paris !”

“My teenage daughter and I stayed in the lovely Orsay Studio for a week in late June. The location, studio and wonderful staff at A La Carte Paris made this a highlight of our 3 week trip to Europe. The only surprises were all good!! Exceeded our expectations and was excellent value for money. The studio was very central and in a lovely quiet little street with an excellent boulangerie at one end for a great start to every day and a little restaurant at the other end which became our favourite of the trip. Metro, buses, supermarket, shopping, major attractions, the Seine all in easy walking distance. The tips folder in the room was very helpful and the pick up service also excellent. We are already planning our next trip and will definitely use A La Carte Paris for our accommodation.”
Tracey Brick from New Zealand stayed in May 2015
“A conference in France allowed for an extra week to explore Paris and the chance to attend some of the French Open tennis at Roland Garros. We did not want to find ourselves staying in the suburbs, travelling into central Paris each day to explore, nor did we want to find ourselves in a large or impersonal hotel. Spending a week living at the Orsay Studio was perfect. We arrived to a warm welcome from an A La Carte staff member, and instantly felt at home. The A la Carte staff were extremely helpful providing advice if needed, and also provided a booklet in the studio complete with instructions, guides to restaurants, taxis, internet log on, etc. Equipped with a small kitchen, and washing machine, we had no need to eat out three times daily, or to find a laundromat - both of which are challenging and tiresome if staying in a hotel! Breakfast would include a stroll to the wonderful Eric Kayser Boulangerie at the end of the road to choose our breakfast breads, returning to enjoy it in the privacy of our little studio. A well equipped supermarket (Monoprix) was also close by and we also bought some pre made meals from both a local deli and the mega food store at Le Bon Marché to enjoy after particularly long days out exploring. The location of the studio (across the river from the Louvre and 2 blocks from Musée d’Orsay) was also key in making the studio so wonderful. Being centrally located in St Germain meant everything was relatively close by, and we also felt very safe. Finally remember to register for the Velib bike rental system, where you can rent bikes daily, dropping off and collecting at multiple stations around the city - and there was a station close by the studio also. It meant we could explore further afield without the need to walk everywhere.
I will be recommending A La Carte to our friends and acquaintances in the future. The whole process of booking and communicating with them was easy. The studio apartment is best for a couple, and certainly added to the romance of Paris in the Spring.”
Sophia Huang from United Kingdom stayed in April 2015
“The Orsay Studio apartment was excellently located, especially for our pastry shopping. It was within easy walking distance to some of our favourite bakeries, chocolatiers, and pastry shops, including Pierre Hermé, Des Gâteaux et du Pain, Hugo & Victor, La Maison du Chocolat, and Poilâne. What’s more, a branch of the famous bakery Eric Kayser was literally a few steps away from the apartment, and a decent-sized Monoprix was also nearby.
The kitchen was on the small side, but it was fully functional. The cupboard was stocked with oil, vinegar, and salt, so we could start cooking without worrying about getting the essentials. There was not a proper oven, but as we only stayed for four nights, we were happy with just using the microwave, the toaster, and the hotplates. The pans and pots provided were perfect for rustling up a quick meal. All the staff we got in touch were more than happy to help. We could not have faulted anything. Highly recommended! Thank you and the A La Carte Team again for making our stay comfortable and memorable. We look forward to trying another A La Carte property when we next visit Paris.”
Lloyd Princeton from United States stayed in January 2015
“I had the pleasure of using the A La Carte service for the second time and as before, the service was very professional. I was met by someone as soon as I arrived, the apartment was exactly what was promised, and my stay was flawless! Using an apartment is a wonderful way to experience Paris, especially when it is in a great neighborhood near charming boutiques, museums and the Seine!”
Anne & Len Roberts from Australia stayed in November 2014
“Our Orsay Studio stay was for 6 nights. Although small, it had everything we needed for a very comfortable and cosy stay, including very good heating as the weather outside was very cold. We were blown away by the beautiful bottle of wine and chocolates left for us as a welcome gift. The studio apartment was really clean which is the most important aspect for me as I am a clean freak. The area was very convenient with two metro stations nearby along with numerous bistros/restaurants, a patisserie/boulangerie at the end of the street, supermarkets a short stroll away and two grocers just a few steps away. The area is quiet even though there is always plenty of activity going on outside. The check-in and -out procedure was very simple and A la Carte were very obliging in allowing us to stay to late afternoon on the day we left as we had a late flight out of Paris. I would definitely recommend the Orsay Studio.”
Candace & John Rogers from United States stayed in September 2014
“We loved our stay at the Orsay Studio in St. Germain. The apartment was clean, well designed and tasteful. Good sheets and pillow cases. The apartment is a block away from the d'Orsay Museum, and two blocks away from the Louvre, so saying it is well situated is an understatement. Looking out on a narrow, quiet street . Highly recommended. 5 stars!”
Brett & Heather Reid from Australia stayed in January 2014
“The Orsay Studio apartment was perfect for our needs. So close and convenient to everything in the heart of Paris. We were lucky with the weather and we were able to walk everywhere which we always find enjoyable no matter where we are. To be able to stroll at ones own pace all around Paris was magic. We didn't use, or need to really, any public transport other than to get to Gare Du Nord and to the Catacombs. We just loved the fact we could walk to all the places we wanted to see! We had a fantastic time in Paris made all the more enjoyable with your personal help and the help and guidance of the A La Carte team. The information brochure in the apartment is so good and being so close to the Eric Kayser "shop of deliciousness!!!" :) WOW!! Fantastic. Heather and I will not hesitate one second in booking our next stay in an apartment in Paris with A La Carte Paris. Thank you all so much!”
